Halos & Downtown Fun:

unnamedunspecified-1unspecifiedunnamed-6unnamed-8unnamed-7Last weekend I took the kids to one of our favorite stomping grounds, the Children’s Museum of the Arts, aka CMA.  It’s always been a place where they can see art and create art.  This past weekend we were excited to attend a private events sponsored by Halos and Momtrends and create some masterpieces of our own.  My kids consume a lot of Halos on a weekly basis so to be able to munch on them while they’re crafting, and create little chicks and bunnies of their own out of their favorite treat was all the more fun.  I also learned what delicious ingredients were in the smoothies that were being served, and how to make them.  Too yummy not to share.  Details below!  We weren’t ready to leave the event once it concluded so we stuck around and created some more art with paint and recycled materials.  Any space that the kids can get down and dirty in that’s not my home is a bonus.  If you haven’t checked out this museum, it’s a must for all ages.
