Always A Local:

I grew up spending every summer in Beach Haven, Long Beach Island.  I’ve written about it before, but each time I go back I have a whole new appreciation for it.  It’s a pretty short ride, all things considered, from my house.  Our beach house is in a location where we walk everywhere (I actually didn’t drive for a week).  The beach is our backyard …

White Summer:

Despite this heat wave, which surely has been carrying into the night (so much for “cool” Summer evenings), I’m a big proponent of wearing booties with little skirts or dresses.  They’re unexpected and can make an otherwise dressier outfit feel casual.  Here are some favorites that can be worn year-round:  Lands’ End    Club Monaco   Isabel Marant   Vince Button-down: J.Crew/ Skirt: dRA/ Boots: Lands’ End/ …

Star Theme:

Apparently I’m pretty partial to stars.  On my shoes and on my clothing.  This super soft  Sundry muscle tank is absolutely no exception.  It’s cute knotted at the bottom paired with a maxi skirt, tucked in with denim cut-offs or even paired with leggings, sneakers and an elongated cardigan. In other words, an all-season essential. Tank: Sundry/ Shorts: Siwy/ Flats: Repetto/ Belt: Hermes/ Bag: YSL (similar here)
