Dirty Art:

This isn’t any ordinary denim jacket.  I was fortunate enough to meet artist Jenn Lewis this year and see all of her enormous canvases and other pieces of art made out of plexi, light and old Time magazines.  When she offered to make my old Marc Jacobs denim jacket feel new again I jumped at the chance.  Jenn’s artwork is deemed “dirty art”.  Each piece is special, messy, argues back yet has purpose.  I feel badass wearing my wearable art.  If you’re interested in Jenn creating a piece of artwork for you or painting on a bag (oh, she does the sickest paintings on Goyard, Chanel, LV and the list goes on), you can contact her through her Dirty Art site.  It’s worth pursuing just to see her artwork and get inspired!
