As you know, I love playing with proportions. I’m genuinely satisfied when pieces hit in the right places and are well balanced. This outfit is a go-to of mine for a night out with girlfriends. It’s easy to wear and I can transition some daytime pieces (the blazer and jeans) right into nighttime. When I’m out during the week I can’t think too much about what I’m going to wear. I’m usually running around until the last second with work and the kids, so I need to recycle parts of my daytime look. The perfect way to do this is to invest in a classic navy elongated (aka boyfriend) blazer. It looks equally cute with a white or gray t-shirt under it during the day, as it does with a sequin cami for night. Swap out your daytime booties or flats for a simple pair of luggage leather heels. This is the definition of easy dressing that mixes proportions (skinny bottoms with looser top).
