How To Peg Your Jeans:

Now it’s time to do a little shopping in your own closet (told you I can save you money!).  Your boyfriend jeans and wider leg jeans can be taken off the shelf.  Those that you normally reserve for flats and sandals can be worn with your favorite little boots.  I love pairing my baggier jeans with moto boots and getting to wear them year-round.  The fashion hack is called pegging your jeans.  Remember that from the ’80s and ’90s?  Well here’s how to repurpose your jeans with purpose…

Fold the hem:  Gather the hem in your hand and take the left side and bring it over to the right side, pulling it tight to your ankle.

Roll the hem:  Now roll the material a couple of times until you reach a desirable height.

Hitting the boot:  I like when my rolled hem hits the top of my boots, or even a little bit above.

Remember, proportions:  When you’re wearing a baggier jean, it’s important to remember that your top should be a slimmer silhouette.  Or at least a slimmer base with a baggier layer (case in point with my outfit!).
