Summer Bronze:

With Memorial Day weekend rapidly approaching (how?!) I wanted to share with you a couple of my favorite bronzing techniques without ever stepping foot in the sun.

When it comes to my bronzer I’m loyal to my Nars bronzer in Laguna.  It’s the perfect shade for most skin tones and you can apply one dusting, or several, depending on how sun-kissed you want to look.  This is part of my go-to routine every morning.  A little trick you may not know, to add dimension to your clavicle you can brush some bronzer on the bones.  Whenever I’m in sleeveless, especially at night time, I tend to make this part of my routine.   As far as the brush goes, I just switched from an old brush with a handle to the Artis Mirror Palm Brush.  It comes in silver or gold and is super chic.  Hello, it’s like jewelry for your makeup! I also love how compact it is, especially when I’m packing a bag and am on the go.

The only lotion I use once the temps heat up is Mario Badescu Summer Shine Lotion.   It smells like pina coladas, which naturally brings up thoughts of vacation.  It has a slight shimmer to it and is so creamy and light that you can slather it everywhere.
